INCLUSIVE EDUCATION PROJECT
Corporación Compartir and Misión Alianza Noruega in Ecuador, organizations committed to the inclusive development of the most socially vulnerable communities in the city of Guayaquil. Since 2015, they have established an alliance within the framework of collaborative work, carrying out the development of initiatives aimed at strengthening inclusive practices in the public education sector, contributing to the defense of human rights and the fulfillment of public policies in education in Ecuador.
The Inclusive Education project is implemented in the northwest of the city of Guayaquil, focusing its actions on strengthening the capacities of all actors involved in education, generating inclusive educational practices that respond to the diversity of all students, with greater attention to those at risk of exclusion.
This project is conceived as a means for the empowerment of all key actors in education, through processes that allow for the assumption of co-responsibility and complementarity among them, in order to generate inclusive educational processes that are sustainable over time.
DIRECTORS, TEACHERS, DECE, UDAI
MANAGEMENT FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATION COURSE
Strengthening the capacities of directors, teachers, student counseling department (DECE) and support units for inclusion (UDAI), of public educational institutions corresponding to Zone 8 of the Ministry of Education.
This training program has a duration of 200 hours and is endorsed by the academy. Every year, agreements are made with prestigious universities in the city of Guayaquil to develop these training processes.
An average of 120 teachers from regular and specialized educational institutions are trained annually. Training programs for the educational community are interrelated in order to foster co-responsibility and complementarity between school and family in the exercise of their roles in inclusive education.

FAMILIES
Strengthening the skills of families of students with special educational needs associated or not with disability in the processes of educational inclusion, through training processes aimed at fostering a culture of cooperation between school, family and community.
Training Course on Inclusive Management
Development of capacities to exercise the right to a quality and inclusive education, guaranteeing access, permanence and progress of students in the formal education system, assuming co-responsibility as a family in the process of educational inclusion.
Conformation of work tables.
Process of empowerment of the families of students with special educational needs associated or not to the disability, by means of work tables, where a positive connection between the family, school and community is created, impelling initiatives of advocacy, promotion of rights and citizen participation, assuming the leadership in the management for the inclusive education in northwest of the city of Guayaquil.
COMMUNITY
The community capacity building programme promotes the full participation of the communities, through awareness, information and training actions on inclusion, assuming the co-responsibility in the management of the community's inclusive development, thus achieving empowerment, which translates into the defence of rights, equal opportunities for all and positive changes in personal and community attitudes in favour of equity and inclusion.
ADAPTATIONS FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
Adaptations and equipments of the public educational institutions corresponding to the zone 8 that participate in the project, to improve the conditions of physical accessibility.
